Skanska was in charge of the design, procurement , construction and start-up of the potabilizing plant that is part of the Río Colorado Aqueduct project, which provides water to the community of La Pampa.
It possesses a capacity to treat a maximum volume of crude water of 2m3/sec. by means of three treatment modules integrated by a loading chamber. From it, crude water is derived on to flocculators, decanters, fast filters, command galleries, softening plants using resin, and dosing building for gaseous chlorine. Drinking water is poured inside a 2500mt cistern in order to carry out the pumping of the duct.
