The province of La Pampa does not have any water course in its territory, and there are major restrictions regarding underground hydric resources coupled with dry weather. In order to meet the demands of drinking water needed for cattle rearing, for irrigation and for the industries located in the region, Skanska built an aqueduct that goes between the Colorado River and the city of Santa Rosa, along a total distance of 156 km.
