With over 55 years of experience in the industry of power transmission and transformation, Skanska Latin America has become a point of reference in the Region. Among its background in the industry we can mention the laying of more than 15.000 Km. of high and medium voltage transmission lines, as well as the construction of more than twenty 500 kV Transformer Stations and thirty 132 kV Transformer Stations.

Cuarta Línea Transmission Line (Comahue - Bs. As.)
Skanska was in charge of the engineering and the management of the Project called Cuarta Línea. The Company developed the control of the works execution and the verification of compliance with plans related to quality assurance, safety at construction sites and environmental protection.

Macachín 500 kV Transformer Station
Skanska executed the civil works, the procurement of all the materials, the electromechanical erection and the start-up of the Station.

Zongolica 115 kV Transformer Station and Tierra Blanca TS Enlargement
Skanska performed the engineering, materials procurement and construction of Zongolica Transformer Station of 115/33/13,8 kV; and the enlargement of Tierra Blanca Transformer Station.

Substation for the 500 kV Capex-SADI Interconnection
Skanska was responsible for the enlargement of the 132 kV substation and the construction of the new 500 kV substation, needed to permit the interconnection at 500 kV between Agua del Cajón Thermoelectric Power Plant and the Argentine Interconnection System (SADI).

Ponte de Pedra - Rondonópolis Transmission Line
The tasks undertaken by Skanska included the development of the basic and of the executive project, the civil works execution and the electromechanical erection of the line.
