Skanska was in charge of the engineering and the management of the Project called Cuarta Línea. The scope of the works included detailed engineering, material procurement and construction of a 1.000 Km. and 500 kV high voltage transmission line between transformer substations located in two Argentine provinces.
Among the main tasks which Skanska was responsible for we can mention that the Company developed the control of the works execution and the verification of compliance with plans related to quality assurance, safety at construction sites and environmental protection. In this project, Skanska used, for the first time in Argentina and in Latin America, Cross Rope type towers.
