The Cerro Verde Primary Sulphides Project includes the installation of a deposit of second ore washes, with a storage capacity for a production rate of 108,000 tons per day. The scope of the works for which Skanska was hired includes the following activities and quantities: placing and compacting of sloping drainage downstream with respect to the dam 167,000 mts2. Filling of slope upstream and down the dam 1,118,000 mts2. Filling of slope upstream with respect to the dam: 49,000 mts2. Filling of drainage layer : 150,000 mts3. Supply and installation of : geotextile blanket 600 gr./m2 slope upstream with respect to the dam 93.000 m2..
Installation of : geotextile blanket 600 gr./m2 iin drainage layer 105.000 m2.
HDPE pipes at ø 30 cm. for drainage in drainage layer 1.900 ml.
