Skanska executed detailed engineering
activities, as well as those related to procurement, civil
construction, industrial erection, conditioning, preoperational
tests, start-up and assistance in the operation during a 6-month
period for the hydrogen purification system (PSA - Pressure
Swing Adsorption) with a 550.000 - Nm3/day capacity and the
interconnections with the construction and the preexisting
units.
The contract agreed upon with the Client included an execution
term of 540 days, to be completed in June of 2005. However,
in order to meet a need put forward by the Client, Skanska
took new steps in order to move the schedule forward and was
able to complete the project three months earlier.
