With the purpose of increasing the transportation capacity of Gral. San Martín gas pipeline in 2.9 million m2 per day, Skanska was hired for the laying of 153 km of parallel loops along the main gas pipeline. The diameter of the laid pipe is 30 inches. The scope of the tasks to be developed by Skanska during an 8-month period included detailed engineering, partial supply of materials, construction, rendering of equipment, and assistance for the start-up.
