| Skanska carried out detailed engineering,
procurement, construction and start-up activities for Flowlines
having 20,16,10 and 4” diameters ; and 26, 20, 20 and 35 Km
in length, respectively. The project enabled the transport
of natural gas and natural gas liquids up until Camisea Gas
Treatment Plant and the transport of dry natural gas from
there up to the field, in order that it be reinjected at the
wells. Due to the sensitivity of the area, protection of plant
and animal species was a priority for Skanska´s management,
as well as the replanting and remediation of the affected
area. Likewise, the presence of native communities in the
area called for the development of a strong relationship in
the everyday life shared with them. |
