1947:
In July of this year, the Company was created in Buenos Aires under
the name: SADE – Sociedad Argentina de Electrificación (Argentine
Society for Electrification).
1958: SADE is responsible for the installation
of a network of more than 600 Km. of tramways in Argentina, a project
which is rolled out in the following year. |

At the beginning of the decade:
The Company is acquired by CGE (Compagnia Generale di
Elettricitá) from Milano, an affiliated company of the General
Electric Group (USA).
1969: The Southwest subsidiary of the Company starts
its activities in the capital city of Neuquén, (Argentina),
devoted to oil projects and services. Currently, in the capital
city of Neuquén, the Company has an operative centre, which
is a direct heir to that subsidiary.
1963/9: SADE Spain executes industrial projects
of varied size and complexity, among which should be mentioned:
Nuclear Central Stations (Energy division) and Lamination trains
(Industrial division). |

1971: SADE takes over
the service of Puesto Hernández Oil Field, for its client
Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales (YPF), a state-owned company
at that time. This stands as the first service taken by SADE in
all its history within the Oil & Gas industry.
1975: The Company is acquired by the Pérez
Companc Group, one of the main players in the energy industry of
Argentina, and it becomes the construction arm of the group. |

1981/85: SADE performs
several works and jobs in some of the most important hydroelectric
power plants in Argentina: El Chocón, Salto Grande, Alicurá
and Urugua-í.
1982/8: SADE executes, jointly with JGC (Japan),
a project for “Conversion Increase in La Plata Refinery”. The Client
is the oil state-owned company of that time: Yacimientos Petrolíferos
Fiscales (YPF). |

1995: The Company obtains
the ISO 9001 Certification (Quality Assurance), granted by BVQI,
which turns it into the first construction services company in Argentina
to accomplish this. The certification is still in force at present,
10 years after it was obtained.
1998: The Company obtains the ISO 14001 Certification
(Environment), which it has been able to recertify since then and
is still in force as of the present date.
1999: SADE is acquired by the Skanska AB Group
(Sweden), one of the most important construction and project development
groups in the world, with activities in over 60 countries and more
than 12 thousand projects currently under execution worldwide.
2000: The Company obtains the OHSAS 18001 and BS
8800 Certifications (Industrial Safety), which have been recertified
and are still in force as of today. |

2003: Skanska Latin America
receives an award as the Business Unit of the Year, after a thorough
selection procedure carried out among all the Business Units of
Skanska Group in the world.
2003: The Breitener Emergency Power Plant Project,
located in Fortaleza, Brazil, is awarded a prize as the Project
of the Year, in the BOT, Project Development and Services category.
2004: Skanska Latin America is awarded a prize as the Business
Unit of the Year, for a second running year.
2005: Skanska Latin America is
awarded a prize by the Instituto Argentino de Seguridad with an
Honours Mention for the 2000-2004 period, for having obtained a
61% reduction in the frequency of accidents occurred in projects
the Company develops in all of the countries of the region.
2005: The Company obtains the SA 8000 Certification
(Social Accountability), which turns it into the first Business
Unit of the Group to obtain a certification related to Social and
Corporate Accountability. |
